Plot
Summary
Dan and Drago wake up both having a dream where the Maze was in trouble, and there was a Core Cell. The Awesome Ones discuss everything that has happened and believes the dreams Drago is having is a warning of things to come. China Riot is training her Maxotaur with Tripp's Cloptor when both Bakugan are defeated by an unknown attack, it's from Magnus and his Nillious. Magnus convinces Riot and Tripp to team up with him to capture the Core Cell because they will get a chance to defeat Dan Kouzo and his friends.
The Awesome Ones travel through the Maze and a black substance falls from the sky, Drago starts to get grabbed by a shadowy hand. They find themselves in a forest area, where Tiko attacks them. The Awesome Ones are shocked Tiko has appeared because they believed he was defeated by Drago inside of the Core Cell. Lightning barks and alerts Dan to the Core Cell he saw in his dream, the Core Cell has been corrupted by Tiko.
Tiko easily overpowers Drago, having been stronger from before due to him now controlling the Core Cell. An injured Drago rushes to protect Dan and his friends from Tiko's attack, but Tiko is on the chase until they escape thanks to the Mobile Gate.
The Awesome Ones report to Benton Dusk that the reason the Core Cell wave pattern was because Tiko corrupted the Core Cell, and they were receiving warnings from it. With the revelation that Tiko has returned, the Awesome Ones need a plan to stop him once and for all.
