The Awful Ones is the seventieth episode of Bakugan Battle Planet.
Summary[]
Magnus heads into the Labyrinth to claim the Fortus Core Cell for his own, but comes in direct contact with the evil versions of the AO.
Plot[]
Dan, Wynton, Lia, and Shun face off against Magnus, China Riot, and Col. Tripp, with Trhyno entering the fight to protect the Core Cell, everyone is defeated except for Dan and Magnus. Magnus won't give up, and evolves Nillious into Hyper Nillious to take down Trhyno and get the Core Cell. Dan and the others notice Trhyno has been infected by Tiko's substance, so Pegatrix and Turtonium try to heal Trhyno. Trhyno is still infected, but he gains the ability to speak again, he tells the AO that he was protecting the Core Cell from the evil Tiko but got the V Virus after fending him off.
Magnus and Nillious go towards the Core Cell, which is revealed to be infected. Dan and Magnus enter the Core Cell, but Magnus starts to absorb the dark power, Magnus refuses to leave because he won't lose again - he must win. Dan and Magnus' friends wonder what is happening inside the Core Cell, when Magnus finally comes out, laughing evily having gained a new power.
