According to the Bakugan Wiki outside of Wikia, the Unknown Pyrus Brawler is indeed Dan Kouzo: https://bakugan.wiki/wiki/Dan_Kouzo There also was a video on YouTube uploaded by Negative Legend in which the app was reviewed. From there they got the character descriptions. Unfortunately the video is deleted now.
