- Spartablaster looks like a pyramid in closed Gear form.
- During the September/October Bakugan review/preview, LordDarkus made a reference to a popular Internet Meme by quoting at the end of his preview for Spartablaster, "Now this is Sparta!".
- Every time its ability was used in the Anime, Zenet called out a different name.
- It may be a reference to spartan laser from popular video game halo. They both shoot out a beam and both are called Sparta.
- Spartablaster looks to be an organic Battle Gear.
