Mylene Farrow (ミレーヌ・ファロウ, Mirēnu Fuarou?) was the Aquos Brawler of the Vexos, and a major antagonist in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia.
Cold, manipulative, and pragmatic, she often blames others for failures rather than admitting her own weakness; at the end of the first arc, she discards her Guardian Bakugan Elico (and Volt Luster's Brontes) for being "too weak" and having feelings, replacing him with the Mechanical Bakugan Macubass, with Tripod Theta as her (former) Bakugan Trap. She is often paired up with Shadow Prove.
Personality[]
Mylene is very cruel and sadistic to the point where she is willing to do whatever it takes to get herself out of a "sticky situation." She is quick to blame others for personal failures (or even to excuse another person's failure) to avoid punishment. After several failures in the first arc while using regular Bakugan, she decides it was the Bakugan's fault for being weak and having emotion, and throws not only her own, but also Volt's away without getting his input. After the Dimension Controllers are destroyed, she concocts a plan with Hydron to pin the blame on Spectra Phantom, who was busy dueling Dan Kuso. When Mira tries to negotiate with her while she is imprisoned in the cage, she uses Mira's naivety to her advantage, as she uses her Gauntlet's "lightsaber" effect to use Mira as a hostage to get Spectra to show her the Phantom Data. Her attempt to kill Mira during their final battle shows she possesses a bloodthirsty streak. Because of her cruelty, she thinks of Mira and Keith's attempt to save her from being sucked into Bakugan Interspace as a crazy idea and was very surprised that they tried their best to keep on holding to her.
She was obsessed with power like Spectra Phantom was, going as far to throwing away Bakugan she deemed weak, including Elico. She called Hades as a "pile of junk". She believed that living Bakugan were useless and garbage, seeing them as weapons. She believes Mechanical Bakugan are more powerful than the living Bakugan, which is later proven to be the other way around when her Macubass and Shadow Prove's MAC Spider were destroyed by Magma Wilda and Helios MK2 respectively.
Despite her cold attitude, she seems to acknowledge Volt as a friend, saying upon his departure from the Vexos, "Good luck, friend" and is saddened when he got sucked in by the Death Bombs.
She also developed a heated rivalry with Ace Grit. She also mocked him that he is such a tough guy and even refusing to put her hands on her head.
Though she seems to despise Shadow Prove and thinks of him as a nuisance and even calling him a "freak show," she later realizes that he genuinely cares for her and before vanishing, produced a gentle and real smile as she holds Shadow's hand.
She was loyal to King Zenoheld, and he entrusted her for completing essential tasks. However, she does have morals and she does not allow her loyalty to blind her, as seen where like most of the Vexos disagrees with Zenoheld's plan to destroy Vestal and Earth and Mylene did acknowledge that Zenoheld was indeed deranged and crazy due to his increasingly insane and destructive plans. However at the same time, Mylene also implied that the only reason she went along with it was due to her realizing that Zenoheld would likely have her executed and killed if she objected to his plans and kept her opinions silent and followed his orders to protect herself.
She hates Prince Hydron for his arrogance, calling him a "spoiled brat" and later even an "imbecile" for failing to dispose of the Alternative data that Lync copied. However, she nevertheless covers for him when Zenoheld begins to take his anger out on Hydron for losing a brawl.

Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia[]
Mylene is first shown in Invasion of the Vestals with the other members of the Vexos, watching as all the Bakugan are captured onto the Vestal Destroyer and smirks with Spectra Phantom after all the Bakugan get captured.
Later in Facing Ace, she is seen with the Vexos, telling Prince Hydron about the powerful Drago with the prince ordering the Vexos to capture Drago by any means necessary.
In Get Psyched, she appears watching Shadow Prove's match with Baron Leltoy, insulting him after his loss and complaining about his bad piloting.
In Marucho's Mission, she battled Marucho Marukura and almost won because of her Bakugan Trap Tripod Theta, which used after her Abis Omega, Clawcer and Stug. She then battled Shun Kazami and lost, which was off screen.
In Taste of Defeat, Gus Grav calls her and the other Vexos for a meeting. Lync Volan asks him to cut to the chaise while Shadow mentions that this better be important. Mylene says that Gus must have a good reason for calling them here. Gus tells them that they all (expect for Spectra) have failed their mission in taking down the Bralwers. This shocks Mylene and Lync and angers Shadow, who calls Gus a freak. Spectra adds that the Vexos can't lose again to the Brawlers. Shadow tells Spectra that next time he sees the Brawlers he will take them down. Lync and Shadow start to argue about Shadow's loss to Baron causing her to break it up by calling them "fools". When Spectra sends Gus to battle the Resistance, she voices her frustration by referring to Gus as Spectra's little pet. After Gus beats Dan Mylene warns the Vexos that the fight is not over yet.
In Return of a Friend Mylene appears in a flashback When Shun tells the Resistance how he appeared and saved Marucho from her.
In, What's the Plan?, Mylene is seen with Shadow, Spectra and Gus in Alpha City, where she is known as Merciless Mylene. When the presentation is over, Mylene gets annoyed by Shadow's bragging and leaves saying that Lync and Volt will take care of the challengers. Shadow pesters Mylene to take him to Beta city much to her annoyance.
In Surprise Visitor she and Shadow hear Runo Misaki and Julie Makimoto when the girls tried to teleport Runo to New Vestroia but due to the malfunction of Dr. Michael's teleportation machine, they failed to transport her properly. After Shadow and Sylvee lose to Marucho and Elfin in Gate Crashers, she picks up Shadow saying that his loss was embarrassing and that he should go before he embarrasses himself even more. She then watches Shadow yell at Professor Clay, saying he wants his Mechanical Bakugan ready. Mylene promises to leave them alone.
Prince Hydron gives her control over the Vexos. She quickly formulates a strategy, by separating the three remaining members of the Resistance and then taking them on one by one. To do that, she has Shadow imitate the voice of Dan Kuso and Mira Fermin to lure Marucho Marukura and Ace Grit. Only Shun realized that it was a trap, but it was too late for the other two members. Mylene then faced off against Ace, defeating him with her new attribute-changing Bakugan, Elico. With her last attack, Ace fell into the water, but could not swim back up. With that, she claimed that "Their nightmare is just beginning."
In Dude, Where's My Bakugan? Mylene is shown telling Hydron that with Drago's absence the Dimension Controllers in Beta City and Gamma City have grown stronger. She then mentions how closing the gate to Earth will be useful only for the prince to tell her to allow Spectra and Gus to return knowing Spectra has a Vexos Dragonoid for him. Mylene gets angry about this causing Shadow to mock her telling her she should let Hydron know who is boss.
In Family Ties, Mylene is mentioned by Nemus who tells Dan, Runo, Mira, Julie, and Baron that if they return to New Vestroia than they will just have to take down her, Shadow and Volt.
In Beta City Blues, she battled Baron Leltoy and Dan Kuso in Beta City alongside Shadow Prove but was defeated, and the Dimension Controller was destroyed. She then battles with Shadow again in Gamma City this time against Marucho Marukura and Shun Kazami and still lost the battle to them.
Before fleeing New Vestroia Mylene throws away her Elico and Volt's Brontes as they "no use anymore" and she teases that Clay Fermin has made new Mechanical Bakugan for them instead as "a weapon with feelings are useless".
In between the first and second arcs, Mylene fled along with the rest of the royal family and the Vexos when the Resistance revealed their lies about the Bakugan. To escape the revolting Vestals, they took off on the Vexos Motherpalace into space.
In Revenge of the Vexos, Mylene Shadow Lync and Volt were shown talking with Zenoheld about where the Brawlers are at. She informs the king how because the attribute energies are in Earth and Vestail getting them would be tricky. Zenoheld entrusts Mylene with the duty of picking another Subterra brawler to replace Gus. Her choice of Hydron meets his approval. After Hydron beats Baron and returns back to the palace, Mylene states that he should work on his stealth, because he may have alerted the other Brawlers. However, he shrugs it off, saying that she was jealous of him for claiming the first Attribute Energy. Mylene seemed angered, but didn't question him further.
In Saved By the Siren, After Prince Hydron defeated Baron and claimed the Haos energy, she went to retrieve the Darkus energy out of jealousy with her new mechanical Bakugan, Macubass. She would have most likely defeated Ace Grit, but Klaus showed up and helped him to win the battle while remarking that she is indeed beautiful (however coming from Klaus Von Hertzon, that doesn't mean much).
In Earth Invaders, she and Lync Volan went to Earth, and as Mylene stood out in what she was wearing, she tried to find a suitable disguise but ended up sticking out more when her disguise of choice was a white tuxedo for a groom, then they battled Runo Misaki and Mira Fermin and won, taking the Subterra Attribute Energy in the process.
In Elfin On the Run, She is shown listing to Zenoheld when he asks who will get the Aquos energy.
In Virtual Insanity, she and Shadow go back to Earth in search of one of the three Attribute Energies left. They track Billy Gilbert through his gauntlet and follow him to Marucho's house and now know where the Brawlers are hiding.
In All Or Nothing, She Volt and Shadow are shown in a control room. Shadow brags how he will get another attribute energy to which Volt and Mylene tell him to calm down. They then notice a signal coming from another universe which turns out to be the Vestal Destroyer.
In Avenging Spectra, Mylene becomes shocked when he sees that the Brawlers have found the place asking how they could have gotten there. Hydron believes it was thanks to Spectra that they found it. Mylene then appears along with the rest of the Vexos when Spectra and Gus show up and threaten King Zenoheld to leave the brawlers alone. When the argument gets out of hand, she tells everyone to calm down which Spectra agrees with. She then insults Spectra with the other Vexos telling Spectra he properly came to help the Brawlers. After this he eats dinner with the Vexos and gets into an argument with Shadow eating with his mouth open causing Lync to compare them with his grandparents much to her annoyance. She then gets shocked when Gus takes Zenoheld hostage.
Later when the Brawlers are in the Vexos Motherpalace Mylene, and Volt Luster battle Shun and Baron and they defeat both Brawlers and take the Ventus Attribute Energy.
In BT: The Final Battle, After Hydron and Zenoheld win against Dan, Mira and Spectra, Lync, Shadow, Volt and Mylene join Zenoheld and Hydron as the former king tells the Brawlers that once the BT system charges itself. The Bakugan on New Vestroia will be wiped out.
When the BT system is about to launch in Exodus She asks Zenoheld why they let the Brawlers get away. Zenoheld believes they aren't a threat. However, he gets proven wrong when Drago absorbed the energies.
In Volt's Revolt, Mylene and Volt Luster both show disapproval of Clay Fermin's actions to make the Alternative Weapon System to take out all worlds. However, Mylene chooses to stay and warns Volt that he'll "Have to look over his shoulder all the time." She wishes him luck after he leaves and calls him "my friend." Later, when Prince Hydron reveals he "took care of Volt" she appeared to be saddened.
In Payback Mylene was ordered by Zenoheld to get the data from the brawlers they need for the Alternative. She later confronted Lync when she told him that they're about to infiltrate the brawlers' base. Lync claimed that He was helping Professor Clay with the Alternative. Mylene, however, feels something suspicious going on. Soon after that, Mylene entered Professor Clay's lab to test Lync's claims about assisting Clay. Then she overhears from Clay that someone made the copy of the Alternative date, and says it was Lync. She tries to find Lync, but he already teleported to Earth before she can catch up to him. Then she reported to Zenoheld about Lync's actions. At the end of the episode, Mylene was seen along with the remaining members of the Vexos after Hydron punished Lync for his betrayal.
In Mylene's Meltdown, she and Shadow infiltrated the brawlers' base to get the data they need for the Alternative Weapon. She reveals that she is now a free agent as she figured that she could not depend on anyone but herself anymore. After capturing Mira Fermin, she and Shadow Prove are led to Bakugan Interspace by Keith Fermin after he tricked them into thinking he was leading them to the Phantom Data. She laments on how weak Spectra Phantom has become (in her eyes), and he tries (and fails) to get her to learn the importance of teamwork. After they were transported, she brawled against Spectra and Mira in Marucho Marukura's Bakugan Interspace along with Shadow once again and lost, resulting in both their Mechanical Bakugan being destroyed in the process. After the battle, Spectra tried to reason with her and offered her and Shadow into the Resistance which Mira (even though Mylene had attempted to kill her in cold blood during the battle by having Macubass fire its "Moby Cannon" attack at her when Wilda was temporarily incapacitated) unconditionally agreed to. However, Mylene refused, and she tried to send Spectra and Mira to another dimension with a Death Bomb, but the device causes Bakugan Interspace malfunction, and everyone (including Mylene and Shadow) became trapped in it.
In An Heir To Spare, she tries to kill Spectra and his sister Mira with her Aquos Gauntlet sword, but the former is able to hold her at bay until Bakugan Interspace started to collapse and Mylene was being sucked in as a result of her setting off a death bomb to banish the Clay siblings. Spectra Phantom and Mira Fermin tried to save her, but she said she would rather die than accept their help. The ground then collapsed under them causing Mylene to slip from them and get pulled in. However, shortly before she was sucked in Shadow pulled her hand and was pulled in along with her. After they were sucked in, Mylene said "that was a really stupid thing to do," to which Shadow Prove replied, "I thought it would be way more fun to travel to the ends of the dimension with my new best friend." Mylene was shocked, possibly because she knew Shadow truly cared for her, and smiled back at him. They were last seen in some dimension still holding on to each other's hand before disappearing.
In All for One, Shadow and Mylene are mentioned by Shun saying that maybe Mylene and Shadow left a trail when they came to Marucho's house from the Mother palace.

Trivia[]
- In a lot of scenes where Mylene brawls on a water surface, she seems to be standing on water, or even flying over it. The anime never points out how she does this, whether it's an ability of hers as an Aquos brawler or some Vestal technology. At some points, Spectra also appears to be able to levitate during some brawls, though he is never seen levitating over water.
- Shadow Prove seems to care for her. Until episode 49, it seemed she didn't return these feelings or at least hid them well enough.
- She and Lena Isis resemble each other; both are blue-haired Aquos-attribute villains who are smart and are good friends with the eldest of their respective teams (Lena with Sid Arkale and Mylene with Volt). However, Mylene remained loyal to King Zenoheld, while Lena would eventually side with the Brawlers against Barodius .
- In the Japanese version, Mira referred to Mylene as the "Greatest Aquos Brawler and Kiss of Death."
- Mylene and Shadow are the only Vexos Members that didn't turn on Zenoheld. That being said she likely would have turned on him later seeing as how she tells Mira she is a free agent during her battle with Mira in Mylene's Meltdown.
- The English word "farrow" means "a litter of pigs."
- Her surname is a mis-transliteration of the word "Pharaoh."
- Both her Guardian Bakugan Elico and Macubass first appeared in her battles against Ace.
- Lync and Mylene are the only characters who aren't Battle Brawlers who calls Spectra by his real name, "Keith" other than Professor Clay.
- Mylene is the only member of the Vexos that never Brawled with Hydron as an enemy or an ally.
- In the Japanese version, Mylene has a habit of calling Shadow a vulgar man.
Battles[]
Mylene's record suggests she is a good brawler, as she won half of all her battles that have been seen. She is considered the third strongest of the Vexos. However, she and Volt won against Shun and Baron because Professor Clay used the palace to provide extra G-Power for Mechanical Bakugan while lowering the power level for all living Bakugan. That being said Mylene and Volt likely would have won without the aid of the trap field.
