Summary[]
After a damaging secret is revealed, Dan and Drago challenge Kage and Nillious to brawl for the fate of the Misfit Clan.
Plot[]
Following Drago's victory over Nillious, the Misfit Clan, including Drago and Dan Kouzo, seems to have become popular with everyone, as they began cheering for them. Unfortunately, things turn sour when Nillious, who didn't honor his part of the deal, exposed the truth on why the Bakugan had been sent to Earth in the first place, much to the anger of the Misfits, with Dan seeing Nillious' action as a 'dirty trick'. As he couldn't hide it any longer, Drago was forced to admit the truth. Though he expressed remorse for his actions and insisted of the benefits when the Bakugan first met with humans, everyone in the stadium (with the exception of the Misfit Clan) began to despise Drago for what he did back on Vestroia.
Still angry at Kage for his betrayal, Nillious abandons him. Shortly after Nillious' departure, a portal suddenly appears, and balls of red energy begin to corrupt some of the Bakugan, causing them to go on a destructive rampage in the city. The Misfits attempt to get help from the other clan leaders, but because of Drago's confession, they refuse to help them, as the Misfits are now hated as well. Because the clan leaders and their Bakugan refused to help them, the Misfits are forced to deal with the rampaging Bakugan on their own.
The Misfit Clan and their Bakugan put up a massive fight, but they begin to struggle in the process. However, in a surprising turn of events, the clan leaders, having had second thoughts, arrive to assist the Misfits, though they did it only for themselves. Despite this, their assistance turns the tides in their favor, and together, they successfully defeat the rampaging Bakugan. In the aftermath, despite saving the city from the rampaging Bakugan, the clan leaders still refuse to ally with the Misfits, and that they plan to investigate the source behind this monstrosity on their own. Regardless of the outcome, the Misfits become determined to find the source behind the rampaging Bakugan. Elsewhere, the mysterious hooded masked figure, now in possession of the Cogito Drive that has been installed in his device, plans to use it for his own sinister purposes.
