Chezanello is introduced as a bully who defeats the Rowdy Reds with his Bakugan Cyndeous. After Max has switched to his side, Chezanello threatens the Awesome Ones and the remaining Rowdy Reds with Cyndeous hurting them if they defy him. Cyndeous, however disagrees with Chezanello's way of using Bakugan and is reluctant to attack them. For some time however Cyndeous obediently follows Chezanello's orders, as he is partner after all. Soon, Max turns angrily towards Chezanello because he isn't thanking Drago for saving them. Ultimately, Cyndeous doesn't want to be Chezanello's partner anymore. Enraged, Chezanello says that Cyndeous is no longer his partner and angrily leaves.
