Etymology

The Han character in the Japanese name of Gren Dragaon, (kirameku), means gleam. 'Gren' is derived from the Japanese for crimson flame, 紅蓮 (guren). 'Dragaon' is derived from the word 'Dragon' and the onomatopeia for roaring, 'gao'.

Trivia

  • Gren Dragaon's appearance does not change so much from his previous form, Flare Dragaon.
  • Gren Dragaon's name is similar with the Japanese name of Titanium Dragonoid, Gren Dragonoid (グレン・ドラゴノイド, Guren Doragonoido?). Both Bakugan depict Dragon-type Pyrus Bakugan and are also the main protagonist of their respective series.
