FARBAS (Fully Automated Reaction Battle System) is a unique aspect of Vestal computer technology, created specifically for Bakugan battling. When the Farbas will used as an ability by two Bakugan, Cyborg Helios/Helios MK2/Infinity Helios and Farbros/Assail Farbros. Farbros can also use it while connected to the Alternative Weapon System.

The FARBAS system is a multipurpose battle system created by the Vestals as a product of their continual research and experimentation with Bakugan. During battles, it takes the form of an Ability Card unique to certain Bakugan. First introduced in New Vestroia, it was first tested by Spectra Phantom's Pyrus Cyborg Helios. Later, when Cyborg Helios was evolved further to Helios MK2 and later Darkus Infinity Helios, he received different variants of the FARBAS system with unique effects. Besides Helios, the only other Bakugan to utilize the FARBAS system was the mechanical Pyrus Farbros, owned by King Zenoheld.
Functions[]
The first, and most basic function of FARBAS, is to immediately repair any and all damage inflicted upon the Bakugan that activates it, effectively restoring them to 100%. The second function is to continually raise that Bakugan's power level so that it will always match that of the opponent's, no matter how high it rises. Additionally, the FARBAS system continually analyzes the opponent's Bakugan, compiling data and learning about their traits for the sake of developing counters to their attacks and tactics.
Over the progression of New Vestroia, different variants of the FARBAS ability system were developed, keeping the basic functions but also including additional effects, such as nullifying Gate Cards.
Ability Cards[]
- FARBAS: Heals all damage done to Cyborg Helios and keeps his power equal to the opponent's if it is higher than his.
- FARBAS XM: Heals all damage done to Farbros and all G-Power he lost comes back.
- FARBAS EM: Repairs all damage done to Helios MK2 and raises his power equal to his opponent.
- FARBAS RX: Nullifies the opponent's Gate Card and nullifies all abilities that are being activated.
- FARBAS D2: Makes Helios MK2's power level equal to his opponent's, nullifies all of the opponents abilities and becomes immune to all abilities that are being activated during that time.
- Hyper FARBAS: Repairs all damage done to the Alternative Weapon System.
- FARBAS Infinity: Repairs all damage done to Infinity Helios and increases his defense to 120%.

- The FARBAS abilities are considered to be one of the most effective and powerful abilities in the anime, especially FARBAS RX, FARBAS D2, and Hyper FARBAS.
- Farbas has been used by Spectra Phantom and Zenoheld. Both of whom were the leader of the Vexos.
