Duel in the Desert is the 15th episode of Bakugan Battle Brawlers. It aired on October 17th, 2007 in English.
Plot[]
In this episode, the Battle Brawlers finally meet Julie Makimoto in person, but their happy moment soon goes into darkness, when they see what is happening in Vestroia. Julie and Shun have a battle with Julie's friend Billy the 10th Ranked Bakugan player, and her neighbor Komba the 5th Ranked Bakugan player knowing that, they were hired by Masquerade to finish off Dan and his friends. Will Julie be able to fight her friend?

Trivia[]
- In the English version, Julie has different dialogue when she throws out Gorem against Cycloid. This is why it appears as if Julie used the Mega Impact ability off-screen.
- However, in the Japanese version, Julie's dialogue actually involves using the Mega Impact ability while she throws Gorem at the same time.
- This is the first and only time Shun use his launcher. In A Little Help from my Friends, he didn't in a rematch against Komba.
- In the English version, Julie says that Komba is one of her neighbors while in the Japanese version, she tries to introduced the brawlers to Billy before being cut off by Billy
- Ravenoid is still referred to as "Falconeer" in the English Version.
- Shun sacrificed Monarus to safe Gorem from being sent to the Doom Dimension just like how he used Monarus to save Drago from being sent there by Hydranoid in Just For The Shun Of It.
