In Evil Arrival, he appeared in the Doom Dimension along with the other Nonets, arguing with Coredegon, Slycerak, Exostriker, and Mandibor about their power saying that Mechtagon cant be summoned without Bakugan. The Mechogon later abandon the Nonets to head to Earth

In Wiseman Cometh, he and the other Nonets were wondering if Coredegon and the others managed to beat the Bakugan on Earth. They were later freed from the Doom Dimension by Wiseman after learning that Drago is the descendant of the Original Dragonoid who banished the Nonets. He then tells the Nonets about the Battle Brawlers and how they are said to be the best in the world. When Wiseman asked them for their help in reviving the Mechtogan, Betadron asks why. Wiseman tells them they can get revenge on Drago, so Betadron and the others except his deal. After being freed, Betadron appears with the Darkus Nonets on Earth beating a Ventus Longfly, saying how Earth is nothing special. He and the others then fought Drago, Jaakor and Radizen with Betadron taking on Fusion Dragonoid telling him that they have a score to settle. He starts off using Night Vizaler and chases Drago in the sky. Drago then uses Drago Trasher which Betadron doges and then uses Black Burn to trap Drago and knock him down to the ground. Betadron tells the Brawlers that they have been trapped in the Doom Dimension and is ready to take revenge. He then summoned the evil Mechtogan along with the other Nonets. The Nonets and himself ending up losing as Mechtavius Destroyer was defeated.

In Mysterious Bond, he fought against Drago and Reptak alongside Kodokor and Mutabrid. They later combined into Gliderak and took out Drago and Reptak's suit Doomtronic. But were later defeated when Drago and Reptak formed Aeroblitz.

In The Prodigal Bakugan, Betadron and the rest of the Nonets were seen in a flashback when Shun was telling Jakkor about the foes they have to face. Betadron was later seen talking to Wiseman about how he was annoyed by the fact that they lost to Drago once again, scaring Tremblar, Worton, and Stronk into closed ball form. Wiseman tells him that he lost to Drago simply because he was weaker than Drago much to Betadons anger. Wiseman then asks Spatterix and Stronk to join him to take down another member of the Battle Brawlers. Spatterix mocks Betadron saying he won't embarrass him to much causing Betadron to be furious.

In Combination Impossible, he was arguing with Wiseman telling him that they have been doing it his way and were still falling. He was still angry about their losses against the Battle Brawlers. He and the other Nonets then listed as Worton told them that they should target Marucho Marukura and Radizen two of the weakest Bralwers.

In Enemy Allies, he appears again, furious at their third loss to the Brawlers telling Wiseman that they must turn things around. He then told Wiseman that it may be worth it to summon Coredigon and the others. Wiseman asked him why with him telling Wiseman that the only way they can beat the Bralwers is having the mechtagon help. Later he battled the Brawlers Bakugan (except Skytruss and Orbeum) alongside the other Nonets in the park. He mostly battled Drago telling him he is going to feel the full strength of his wrath. He tries to punch Drago, but he avoids it and kicks Betadron causes him to use his arms to duck. He then got attacked by Jaakor's supreme jet shot alongside Mutabrid, Worton and Spaterix. Later, he and the Nonets helped summon the evil Mechtogan. After Mechtavius Destroyer lost the battle, he got defeated too.

In Battle Suit Bash, he, along with Kodokor and Mutabrid fought against Drago, Reptak, Radizen and Jaakor, but this time with the three Battle Suits Wiseman stole from Brawlers headquarters. He battled Drago with his new Battle Suit Combustoid, while Kodokor and Mutabrid battled Radizen and Jaakor. He took out Reptak which turned out to be a trap. He was later hit by Defendtrix's E.M.P.S and retreated soon after being released from the effects.

In Countdown to Doomsday, he battled the Brawlers Bakugan alongside with the other Nonets with his Battle Suit Combustoid. He gets attacked by Jaakor's punch as well as Reptak's suit. He fights Drago one on one with their suits going head to head. He later fuses into Gliderak and battled Aeroblitz. He later summoned the evil Mechtogan and was later transported back to Wiseman's base when Mechtavius Destroyer defeated Dragonoid Destroyer.

In The Eve of Extermination, he battled the Brawlers Bakugan alongside the other Nonets in a staduim. He had a brief fight with Jaakor telling him he will make short work out of him. Jakkor tried to punch him causing Betadron to dodge the attack. He then used Night vislour on Reptak causing him to fall down. He, Kodokor and Mutabrid got attacked by Drago's Dragon astrail attack causing them to fall down. They then summoned the evil Mechtogan. He then told the other Nonets to chat Drago's death to fuel the Mechgaons power which they do giving them more energy. He was defeated when Mechtavius Destroyer lost the battle to Flytris and Thorak.

In Enemy Infiltration, he, alongside his Nonet brothers, summoned three of the Nomadic Mechtogan and witnessed the new magnitude of their powers.

In Gunz Lives, He is shown telling Wiseman that he wants into the battle. Wiseman throws him, Kodokor, Mutabrid and Tremblar later into the fight causing him to fuse into Gliderak and battle Drago in his battle suit Defendtrix, explaining the Nonets' deep desire for his elimination and how they can never be turned after Drago tries to convince him that he is being used while the Nonets (expect Balista) fought the Brawlers' Bakugan (except Roxtor). Instead of completing his goal of defeating Drago, he and all the other Bakugan were defeated by a rampaging Coredegon.

In Evil Evolution, he is seen being defeated by Coredegon along with the other Nonets. Betadron is later trapped in a cave leading to the Doom Dimension with the other Nonet Bakugan by Wiseman. They later escape from the cave (without Worton), team up with Gunz Lazar and begin to battle Mechtavius Destroyer.

In Evil vs. Evil, he and the Nonet Bakugan (except Balista and Worton) battled Mechtavius Destroyer with the robot not allowing him,Kodokor and Mutabrid to combine. After most of the Nonets were killed Scorptak encouraged him and Gunz to go to the Doom Dimension to battle Drago. With the sacrifice of his brothers, he travelled to the Doom Dimension to battle Drago and get his revenge.

In Doom Dimension Throwdown, he battled Drago for the last time and lost after an intense fight. He and Gunz then decided to join the Brawlers to take Mechtavius Destroyer down.

Trivia[]

  • His head looks highly similar to Agunimon of Digimon Frontier.
  • He seems to be a mix of characters, such as a werewolf/dragon hybrid, his chest is similar to Phantom Dharak, and his face looks slightly similar to Strikeflier's.
  • During its release in the Wave 4 set, BrightLight mistakenly called Betadron Kodokor and vice versa. This is likely due to the fact that their ball forms don't show much discrepancy.
  • In the anime, Betadron has extra wing extensions on his ball form, whereas in the game, he doesn't. Mutabrid and Kodokor also have similar cases.
  • He is a lot like Helios in many ways as they are both Darkus, they were both the main deuteragonists of their time, both are dragon-like Bakugan covered with spikes, both can combine with other Bakugan, and even share the same voice actor. They are also used by masked Brawlers and both hate Drago until losing to him in the final battle.
  • Betadron and Worton are the only Nonets to not be killed by Coredegon and become allies of the brawlers.
