Baron Leltoy (Japanese Version: Baron Rich (バロン・リッチ, Baron Ritchi?)) is the youngest member of the Bakugan Battle Brawlers Resistance. He battles using the Haos attribute. He is one of Dan Kuso's biggest fans. He has spiky pink/purple hair with a red headband over it. His Guardian Bakugan is Saint Nemus and his Bakugan Trap is Piercian.
Personality[]
Baron is 12 years old and is the youngest member of the Resistance. Being the youngest, Baron has a lot to learn. Despite proving to be a talented Brawler, he was plauged with confidence issues and had a bad habit of getting too defensive or not attacking properly. At the beginning of the series Baron had a problem brawling, for fear of losing Nemus, especially stricken with grief after losing Blade Tigrerra to Spectra Phantom. However, this fear was overcome in episode 3, when he defeated Shadow Prove. Although he is often referred as the weakest member of the Resistance (by Lync) and a "newbie" (by Shadow), he manages to defeat three of the Vexos and also helped Dan defeat Mylene Farrow.
He is a huge fan of the Battle Brawlers and the Six Fighting Bakugan, and Mira Fermin claims he has a poster of them in his room. In spite of (or because of) this, he has a tendency to embarrass himself in front of his idols. He tends to become overly-fascinated with his objects of interest and is easily wowed, something that even Dan Kuso finds a bit off-putting. He also displays some knowledge of the other Earth Brawlers, as shown by his familiarity with Klaus.
Baron is the eldest son in a large family and is very caring for his six younger brothers and sisters. However, he fears that there is not enough space and he plans to move out after Ace Grit convinces him and gives him some vacant apartment information and job ideas.

Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia[]
It is unknown how Baron came to join the Resistance, but it can be assumed that he joined after Ace Grit did, since Baron was not with Mira when she came to recruit Ace during the flashback in Voices in the Night.
Baron made his first appearance in Invasion of the Vestals where he battled the Vexos leader Spectra Phantom in a unknown planet. Spectra asked the boy if he wants to give up which Baron refuses to do. He uses his Mega Nemus to fight against Viper Helios. Helios was a strong Bakugan as he was able to break through Nemsus's shield. Blade Tigrerra told him to launch her into battle to aid Nemus. After throwing her, Tigrerra tried to fight Helios but was struggling with his power. Nemus told Baron to let him attack but, Nemus attacks did not affect Helios. Just when Helios was going to attack Nemus, Tigrerra sacrificed herself to get beaten to save Nemisus much to Baron's horror. He then watches as he loses the brawl and groans in agony while Spectra taunts him over his loss. This incident clouds him with doubt in his abilities. He then reports to Mira about his loss. Mira feels glad that Nemus if safe and orders Baron to return to the base.
but with a little encouragement from Dan, Mira, and Nemus, he defeats Shadow Prove in a battle and takes three of his Bakugan.
Later he is shown battling Dan and Neo Dragonoid, although the battle isn't finished due to Mira interjecting.
In episode 10, he chooses to follow Dan, Mira, and Runo to Earth in order to follow the Vexos, acting on his ambitions to see the "other side of the portal".
He returns to New Vestroia in episode 20 with Dan through Michael Gehabich dimension transporter. Upon arrival, they are transported to Beta City, battling Mylene and Shadow. Baron was knocked out while attempting to protect Dan and Drago with Nemus, but still succeeded in destroying the Dimension Controller in the process.
Later, he confirms to Ace of Mira's apparent betrayal, after the former's denial and rage upon hearing it from Dan.
When they arrive at Gamma City, he volunteers to brawl Volt Luster, defeating him and his Bakugan Mega Brontes in a brawl and earning his respect. Later he is shown watching Dan's battle with Spectra and goes to save Mira, Shun, and Marucho from the crumbling Vestal palace alongside Ace. He returns to Vestal with Ace and Mira with their Bakugan, in case the Vexos look for revenge in the future. He then goes on TV with Ace and Mira to expose the Vexos' lies and wrongdoing, and subsequently settles down with his family.
In episode 27, Baron is summoned by the Legendary Soldiers and is entrusted with the Haos attribute energy, causing Nemus to evolve.
In episode 28, Baron is the first to be ambushed by the Vexos, by Hydron during a trip to the park with his younger siblings. Despite showing great confidence in the beginning, his hubris would be his downfall, as he loses the Haos attribute energy in the end. Following the battle, he would rush to warn Ace, who would soon be ambushed himself. He would catch up with Ace following his battle, while also meeting Klaus von Hertzon.
In episode 30, following Ace and Klaus' battle with Mylene, he would join them to contact the other Brawlers on Earth to warn them of the Vexos' return and goal of obtaining the attribute energies.
In episode 36, his little sister, Maron, would visit Earth after missing him. He would take her to the amusement park, where he joins Shun in a tag team brawl against Volt and his new partner, Boriates, after accidentally getting involved in the battle by activating his gauntlet. His help would prove to be invaluable, saving the Ventus attribute energy in the process.
Spectra and Gus Grav are able to bring them to the Vexos Motherpalace and once there he and Shun battle Mylene and Volt. Thanks to the trap field, him and Shun are both beaten quickly.
Later after Drago stops the BT system, he returns to Earth with the rest of the Brawlers.
When the Alternative was discovered, Baron and the rest of the Battle Brawlers traveled to the Mother Palace in order to shut it down. He would venture inside the Alternative with Dan, Shun, and Ace, destroying the core after battling against four unknown Bakugan. Following the destruction of the Alternative and the defeat of the Vexos, he bids farewell to Dan, Shun, and Marucho, and heads back to Vestal with Keith, Mira, Gus, and Ace.

Ace chasing Baron in the Japanese ending of Episode 52
In episode 52's special Japanese ending, he is shown playing soccer with his siblings before accidentally hitting Ace with the ball. Later, Baron runs away as an angry Ace chases him with the ball.
Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge[]
Baron was shown in an image along with Ace and Mira when Marucho was reflecting on the good old days of the Battle Brawlers.

Trivia[]
- Baron is the first brawler, and one of only two, to use a Bakugan Trap after the introduction of Battle Gear.
- Baron is the only brawler to use a Bakugan Trap against Battle Gear.
- He is the only Vestal who brawled against a Neathian Bakugan.
- Baron has the largest known family out of all the Battle Brawlers.
- Baron is shown to have the most uses for his Gauntlet, showing Maron how it works and using it as a countdown clock to warn the Brawlers when the BT System will activate.
- Baron shares several traits with Jake Vallory in the next season: Both are muscular, they start as inexperienced brawlers, both are younger than they look, and both have nicknames for Dan Kuso and Marucho Marukura ("Master Dan" and "Master Marucho" for Baron, "Dan the Man" and "Maruch"/"Little Maruch" for Jake).
- In the Japanese version, Baron tends to end his sentences with "su"; Avatar Baron ends his sentences with "chu". He also says Let's fire this up! (激熱!, Gekiatsu!?) before he throws Nemus.
- Baron's name means "a man who belongs to the lowest rank of a British nobility". In his case, it could be referring to the fact that Baron is the weakest member of a stronghold team (the Resistance).
- Much like Gus Grav he refers to a Pyrus Brawler (in this case Dan) as his master much like how Gus refers to Spectra (another Pyrus brawler) as his master.
- In Family Ties, Baron mentioned that he is almost 13 years old. As there is a 6-month time skip between Arc 1 and Arc 2, it is possible that he was already 13 in Arc 2, but it is not confirmed.
- Him and Volt share two things in common. Both battle with the Haos attribute and live in a big family.
- In battle, Baron's catchphrases include "Kick it!" and "Let it rip", the latter perhaps a reference to his VA's involvement with the Beyblade franchise.
- There is a significant discrepancy in strength superiority between the brawlers. Although Baron and Nemus were believed to be the weakest of the team, they defeated opponents who either won against his teammates or required two people and great effort to win. For example, in episode 11, Lync lost with 0:2 against Baron without any losses, and in episode 7, Lync gave Mira a hard time before she beat him, while in episode 9 Shun and Ace lost twice stages and had to work together to win against Lync. In episode 23, Volt lost to Baron, but in episode 14, he won against Marucho. In episode 3, Shadow lost to Baron, but in episodes 15 and 32 he won against Shun, Alice, and Chan.
- Ironically despite Baron and Ace being Mira's close friends they are not seen at all in the second arc of Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge when Mira visits Bakugan City.
Battles[]
Despite being the youngest and the least experienced on the Resistance, Baron proved his worth throughout the season, having beaten Volt and Lync single-handedly, and helping Dan against Mylene and Shadow (although he was eliminated early by Shadow's Hades in the final round, by protecting Dan/Drago).
He functioned well in a utility role in his battles, using abilities such as Shade Cocoon, Shade Ring, Divine Light, Float Shield, and Saint Sky High to either support his teammate's attack or protect/heal his teammates when necessary. This was especially handy in the final battle against Zenoheld and the Alternative. He further showed his versatility in battle by being one of the most effective in utilizing his Bakugan trap, Piercian, compared with the other Brawlers.
