Bakugan Academy! is the first segment of the first episode of Bakugan Evolutions. It first aired in Canada on February 6, 2022. It then later aired in Australia on March 25, 2022. It then aired in the USA on April 1, 2022.

"The Awesome Brawlers are invited to teach at the Bakugan Academy which specializes in Elemental Brawling".
Plot[]
The episode starts with Benton calling the Awesome Brawlers and telling them about the Elemental Storm. Then Benton tells them the elemental energy is how they were reunited with their Bakugan. He tells the Awesome Brawlers that powerful forces on both Earth and Vestroia are working to put an end to the Elemental Storm. He tells them one of the key people is Marlowe Faustus with Dan remembering him. He tells them that he has built a specialized school to help train a new group of brawlers called the Elemental Brawlers. Then Lia pulls out a letter that is an invitation for the Awesome Brawlers sent by Marlowe Faustus to ask them to join his Bakugan Academy. The scene then transitions to the Bakugan Academy. Shun wonders if they really want them to be teachers at the Bakugan Academy with Dan saying why wouldn't they saying they were the ones who saved the Earth a bunch of times saying that it is no wonder they want them to be teachers. Marlowe Faustus then comes to greet the Awesome Brawlers at the entrance of the Bakugan Academy. Marlowe Faustus gives them a tour of the Bakugan Academy while also explaining its purpose. The Awesome Brawlers are impressed by the academy. Once they are done with the tour, Marlowe tells them he would like to get them into class right away. The Awesome Brawlers are surprised but Dan gets cocky and approaches the class telling them that he is their new teacher and they should call him Mr. Dan. He then looks at Coach Short and says he looks a little old to be a student. Coach Short then yells at Dan telling him he is not a student and he is a teacher at the Bakugan Academy. Then he says that the Awesome Brawlers were the new students he was hearing about. He tells them to get ready for some intense training. This confuses the Awesome Brawlers and ask Marlowe weren't they there to be teachers at the academy with Marlowe replying that he invited them to be students at the academy not teachers. Dan then gets upset and asks them what they can teach them anyways since they are the Awesome Brawlers. The Coach Short laughs and jokes that they will first be teaching them about manners. Then Athena appears and tells Coach Short that they should continue on with the class. Then Dan recognizes Athena as one of the Elemental Brawlers. Then Blitz Fox replies that Athena is right and they do not want to waste any more precious time. Then Athena tells Dan how could he be a teacher if he is barely qualified to be a student. Dan then gets angry and tells Athena how him and Drago share an amazing power even more now with Drago's recent evolution. Athena replies that the evolution was just a fluke and asks Dan if he's used that power ever since. Dan starts stuttering and admits that he hasn't. Athena then replies that she thought so and tells Dan he is in for a big surprise. Athena says she is going to be the best Elemental Brawler ever. She then says she will not lose and that here name is Athena Monde and that she is going to be number 1. Dan replies that Athena is not number 1 yet with Athena getting angry and Dan chuckling. Then Marlowe tells them to quiet down then says he has an idea. He says that they should change the lesson and have Dan and Athena battle each other instead. Athena says its fine by her. Coach Short is surprised with Marlowe Faustus saying that the other brawlers could learn by watching Dan and Athena have a battle. Athena says she doesn't want to miss out on the lesson so she will end the battle quickly so they can get back into class. Dan says sure thing and that the battle will be over quick because Drago and Dan will win. Then the scene transitions to the battlefield with both Dan and Athena sending out a gate card to make a drome. Then they both roll out their Bakugan and the battle begins. Then Dan tells Drago to attack Blitz Fox with Twisting Inferno. Then Athena tells Blitz Fox to use Smoke Screen to defend. Then she emerges from the smoke and Athena tells her to use Searing Slash which cause Drago to lose 150B Power decreasing his B Power to 450. Blitz Fox then comes to attack Drago with Drago being surprised but then Dan calls for a Tail Crusher with causes Blitz Fox to lose 75B Power and then hitting the ground causes her to lose 25B Power making her B Power decrease to 500B Power. Dan asks Athena how did she like their attack and that that's how strong they were. Athena says that when it come to brawling there is a short pause and then both Blitz Fox and Athena say we are number 1. They summon an elemental core with them being surprised at the elemental core. Then Marlowe says that it is an elemental core and they only appear when the feeling between Brawler and Bakugan are truly in sync. Then Coach Short laughs and says that now Dan will see the power Elemental Brawlers can bring to a battle. Then Athena touches the elemental core causing it to turn red-orange. She then gives the elemental core to Blitz Fox to summon their Nanogan Scorcher and the core brings Blitz Fox's B-Power to 650. Then she commands Scorcher to use Spinning Scorcher with Dan telling Drago to guard. The attack takes away 50B Power from Drago and leaves him with 400B Power. Then Athena tells Blitz Fox to use Searing Slash and the attack causes Drago to loose 200B Power and leaves him with 200B Power. Then Blitz Fox says that now Drago has to take on both her and Scorcher. Dan then runs to Drago concerned and Athena says that Dan can't use evolution and he can't even summon a Nanogan. Then Blitz Fox and Scorcher run towards Drago ready to attack him and Blitz Fox says that they've got him now. Then both Drago and Dan declare that they won't loose which causes them to summon an elemental core. Than Dan uses the elemental core to summon their Nanogan Fury and brings Drago's B Power to 350. Then Dan asks Athena oh who can't summon a Nanogan and tells both Fury and Drago to go. Dan tells Fury to use Fury Rage and it hits Scorcher turning Scorcher back into ball form and returns to Blitz Fox which causes Blitz Fox's B Power to go back to 500. Both Athena and Blitz Fox growl. Then Fury goes into another Fury Rage which causes Blitz Fox to loose 200B Power leaving her at 300B Power. Fury rolls back into ball form and returns to Drago while Dan thanks Fury. Then Marlowe says that it looks like Fury has used up all it's power. Dan then wonders is that it and is the battle already over. Then Athena says that they are not done yet and Blitz Fox comes in to attack Drago which surprises him and Blitz Fox cackles while ramming into Drago and causing him to lose 75B Power leaving Drago at 125B Power. Then Athena tells Blitz Fox to use Fire Spiral which causes Drago to lose all his B Power and is defeated making Athena the winner. Then Dan asks Drago is he is ok and Drago replies that he is fine. Then Dan says that that was an amazing battle and that they summoned a Nanogan. Then Athena tells Dan that she was right and that she was number 1. Marlowe walks to Dan and tells him nice job and tells Dan that he could become even stronger if he learns elemental brawling at the academy. Then Dan asks Marlowe that everyone in the academy is as strong as Athena with Athena saying that the other students weren't on her level but that any of the students at the academy are more powerful than Dan and that he is no match for any of the students. But Dan then smiles and says that he will study at the academy to and that having strong brawlers like Athena around us will be awesome and Wynton says that if Dan is going then so are they. Then all of them agree. The Coach Short says that during the battle Athena and Blitz Fox's elemental power was stronger than ever before. The Marlowe says that thanks to Dan Kouzo and that his presence will motivate everyone at the academy to improve their brawling skills. Then he says that he is excited for the future. Dan then says that they will have elemental brawling mastered in no time with Drago agreeing and the episode ends.
