Trivia
- This is the only Bakugan season to feature brawlers and Bakugan hailing from every planet introduced in previous seasons: Earth, New Vestroia, Vestal, Neathia, and Gundalia.
- Like the previous season, only Drago and the main antagonist (Razenoid) evolved.
- This is the only season without a team of six antagonist Brawlers of each Bakugan Attribute, with Wiseman in Arc 2.
- It is the only season that has Bakugan with different Attributes from previous variations.
- Arc 2 is the only season where the main Battle Brawlers use two attributes (Dan: Pyrus and Haos, Shun: Ventus and Darkus, Marucho: Aquos and Subterra).
- Arc 1 is the only season where the Battle Brawlers' main female member (Paige) did not have a crush on Dan.
- The Japanese dub of this season can be heard in the Vietnamese version, which is simply dubbed over the Japanese version and uses a modified version of the Japanese New Vestroia opening and ending.
- The uncut Japanese version is also the basis for the footage in the Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai versions of the show; unlike the Vietnamese version, these versions do not dub directly over the Japanese audio.
- The season's working title, according to some early material and animation sheets, was Survival Force (サバイバルフォース). Some time later, it was changed to Mechtanium Surge, presumably a portmanteau of "mecha" and "titanium."
